This celebration at The Barn at Avington was the perfect balance of wholesome family moments and wild, laughter-filled celebration. A day rooted in love, connection and personality from beginning to end.

From the moment Lizzy and Joanna met, it was clear this wasn’t just a wedding day. It was a gathering of people who truly adore one another. Family sat at the heart of everything, creating an atmosphere that felt warm, relaxed and deeply personal.
The ceremony, led by the incredible Miranda the Celebrant, was one of the most heartfelt Lizzy’s ever witnessed. Thoughtful storytelling, genuine emotion and moments of humour blended perfectly, creating a ceremony that had guests laughing one minute and wiping away tears the next. Even seasoned wedding suppliers found themselves emotional, which says everything.
And then came the speeches.
Bold, hilarious and wonderfully savage in the best possible way, they had the entire room in stitches. These are the moments couples remember forever. Real reactions, real laughter and absolutely no holding back.
The day flowed effortlessly thanks to expert coordination from Stacey Page Weddings, her calm and lovely team ensured every part of the celebration felt seamless while still relaxed and natural. They made Lizzy feel like one of their team and very much looked after at the same time.
One of the reasons couples love The Barn at Avington is how everything comes together in one stunning countryside setting. Ceremony, celebration and party all unfold in one beautiful location surrounded by Winchester’s rolling landscape, allowing guests to fully settle into the experience without ever needing to leave.
